At work today, the chefs pureed a nice, hearty steak for me. They also added potatoes for that extra oomph! It was mmm... delicious and very filling. Afterwards, I spent 20 minutes picking out beef bits from my teeth in the bathroom but it was totally worth it.
I recently came to my attention that I've been weighing myself incorrectly. Sharon pointed out that to get an accurate reading on an analog scale, I have to put it on the hard surface rather than the carpet. Upon discovering my true weight, I recoiled in horror at the prospect that figure is fast becoming that of an Olsen twin.
I won't bore you with the details. The bottom line is, I need to gain weight pronto! I had a quick brainstorming session with Felicia last night on AIM since she had a similar dilemma not too long ago. Apparently, eating cheese is a great way to gain weight. Unfortunately, it's not a dependable solution because I'm slightly lactose intolerant. Ice cream was also thrown around as a potential solution. However, I decided against it because I know what it's like to bite into ice cream with your two front teeth. Now, imagine filtering the entire ice cream through your teeth. It sounds like an unnecessary lesson in pain.
For dinner tonight, I made sure to grab extra sour cream and guacamole from Charlie's. I threw rice, ham, shrimp, asparagus, chicken, and vegetable soup into my bullet and blended a nice and creamy concoction. I also grabbed a hamburger patty for later. I figure if I want to stop losing so much weight, I should be drinking meats rather than vegetables.
On a sadder note, my birthday is in 7 days. I guess I'll be drinking my cake through a straw.
